Dear Horse Owners,
Thank you for your interest in “Ludgers”!

In 30 years of international show jumping it has always been my main priority to provide my horses the best possible basis for the performance demanded of them. Along with professional grooming, sufficient time outside and correct shoeing, a healthy horse feed, appropriate to the species and its athletic requirements always came first. After trying various feeds that never fully complied with my ideas of an ideal product, I came upon an old friend, a like-minded horse breeder who enabled me to influence the composition of my feed. It is through him that I started a partnership with the French company Reverdy. For the past 15 years this company has been supplying me with horse feed in which I could incorporate ideas and experiences I have gathered throughout the many years of being in my profession.

In the development of the feed we used the natural digestion of the horse as a guideline and complemented it with the newest insights of experts in this field. The composition of the horse feed is basically predetermined by nature and needs only a few adjustments, since the living conditions and nutritional requirements of the wild horse are certainly different from the domesticated horse nowadays. We consciously avoided including features to this horse feed that appeal to humans like a certain smell or a look – because it is the horse that matters! The range of “Ludgers” includes concentrate feed and nutritionals for horses of almost all categories. Thus, a spare-time rider or an ambitious amateur, just like a professional will find a horse feed within our range, which is suited for his or her needs.
